• To make contact with young people and disseminate information around drugs use and misuse and raise awareness of drug services available in the borough.

• To make contact with drug users and raise awareness of the implications of drugs misuse and provide information about and facilitate access to services within Tower Hamlets which provide support either to stop using drugs or to reduce the harm linked to drug misuse.

• To distribute leaflets and information posters to a range of venues in Tower Hamlets.

• To develop close links and work with key people and groups within the community including youth workers, estate offices, neighbourhood wardens and other key community
workers.

• To gather and feedback information to Nafas about changing trends in drugs use and misuse amongst young people which will be used to influence service developments.

• To work within the current and future legislative framework and policy/good practice guidelines from relevant statutory, voluntary and academic agencies.

• Where relevant to contribute to the development and delivery of the Tower Hamlets Drug Action Team plans and strategies.
